Characteristic township of mediaeval origins, can be found for the first time, in a map of 1035 with the nomination of "Murri de Valli". Probably the term Murro means fortified place; it takes part to the struggles between Guelfi and Ghibellini. Its Statutes dates back to 1570. Morrovalle is known specially for its ancient and precious aristocratic's palaces, from the beautiful architectonic lines; for its Churches with interesting works of art; for the Monasteries with their historical events (Eucharistic miracle of 1560); for the International Museum of Christmas crib.

Pueblecito caracteristico de origen medieval, lo encontramos la primavera vez en una carta del 1035 con la denominacion "Muros de los valles". Seguramente la palabra muro significava fortaleza; que coje parte entre Guelfi y Ghibellini y los estatutos de la ciudad son del 1570. Morrovalle es conocida por sus antiguos y preciados Palacios Gentilizios, de bonitas lineas architectonicas, por sus particulares hechos historicos (Milagro eucaristico del 1560), y por ultimo por un museo internacional del pesebre.

Morrovalle ist berühmt fur die Paläste und deren architektonishen Stil und für das internetionale Krippenmuseum. Sehenswert sind auch die Kirchen mit ihen Kunstschätzen und das Kloster, wo das eucharistische Wunder im Jahr 1560 erfolgte.
